3-Day Mahakala Retreat

Lösar 2023, Tibetan New Year, is observed on Tuesday, February 21. Leading up to Lösar, Ven. Lama Mingma will lead a  3-day Mahakala Retreat, February 17, 18, and 19, beginning at 8:00 am and going until 6:30 on the 17th and 18th, and 7:30 on the 19th, including Ghutuk dinner and Chi Lu puja (deceiving death) on the 19th.     Where is the location of the retreat? Is it yearly?

      Hi Cris. The retreat is in the Gonpa at KSK Buddhist Center in Santa Fe. It is planned yearly for either 1,2, or 3 days. The decision is made 1-3 months before the event, and depends on whether we have the resources to do it.
