  • Saturday | February 27, 2021
  • 6:00 am - 6:00 pm

Chötrul Düchen is the first of the four great Buddhist holidays, celebrating events in the Buddha’s life. It occurs on the first full moon after Lösar, Tibetan New Year, and celebrates the Buddha’s 15 days of miracles in Srasvati, India, to dispel doubt, inspire confidence, and bring many beings to the Dharma. Effects of actions, positive or negative, are said to be multiplied as many as a hundred million times on this day. When the center is open, we practice the Shangpa Mönlam at KSK and the Aspiration Prayer of Sukhavati.
