Our sangha will celebrate Lhabab Duchen on Friday, Nov 22nd at 3:00pm in-person with a Chenrezig Puja & Tsok with additonal prayers. Please feel free to bring an optional offering of finger foods to the tsok.

Lhabab Duchen, ‘Festival of the Descent from Heaven’ is one of the four major Buddhist holidays. Buddha’s mother Mayadevi was reborn in Indra’s heaven. To repay her kindness and to liberate her, and also to benefit the gods, Buddha spent three months teaching in the realm of the gods. This day celebrates his return to the human realm from this god realm.
