Celebrate Vesak Day at KSK!
Observed all over the world, Vesak commemorates the birth, death, and parinirvana of the Shakyamuni Buddha.
We will begin with a procession with the Kangyur (Buddha’s teachings), followed by puja / chanting in the Gonpa.
This will include the Twelve Acts of the Buddha and the 16 Arhats. Jewel Rice and tea will be served. You are welcome to offer kathas, incense, flowers, and/or candles as you would like.

(Note: the Tibetan Saga Dawa version of this practice will be observed in June, with NyungNe practice and other offerings.)
