Lama Mingma Sherpa, along with six KSK members, and many others from the Tres Orejas and Questa sanghas attended a ceremony for the 3-year retreatants on Saga Dawa Düchen at the Vajra Vidya Retreat Center in Crestone, Colorado. Ten retreatants completed three year-retreat, all becoming lamas themselves, and were honored by V.V....

In May, Ven. Lama Chöpal arrived to visit KSK and finish painting the inside of the Gonpa with Lama Mingma, assisted by many wonderful volunteers.  Lama Chöpal will paint a Chenrezig Sand Mandala at KSK the second weekend in June.

In March, Traleg Khandro taught Tibetan Yoga to a lively group. This was the first time Felicity Lodro, wife of the late teacher,  Traleg Kyabgon Rinpoche IX, taught at KSK. Tibetan Yoga, LuJong, was a new offering for us and we had a wonderful response from the community.
