The visit by H.E. Kalu Rinpoche to New Mexico was highly successful and Rinpoche greatly enjoyed his trips to T or C, Taos Center at Tres Orejas, and Questa Center in Lorien. The weather was beautiful and the word got out despite our limited two-week lead time! We had about 200 people for the “Simple Meditation” presentation at James A. Little Theatre and the Gonpa was full for Refuge Ceremony and Four Deities Empowerment. Rinpoche touched many with his simplicity, sincerity, and kindness, more evident because of his great facility with the English language. We look forward to his coming visits and the promise of an auspicious event – the North American Shangpa Monlam in Santa Fe in August, 2019.
