Our precious teacher, Lama Dorje’s birthday coincides with the Buddha’s, as he was born on the full moon in May.  When the center is open, we celebrate with puja and birthday cake. Students and friends bring offerings and good wishes. This year Lama’s birthday, officially May 25, will be celebrated with the Tres Orejas sangha in Taos on May 22, Saturday, after a 2-1/2 hour puja beginning at 9:00 am that includes Green Tara, Chenrezig and Mahakala practices.
